FRIENDS — WE HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW UP FOR ONE OF OUR OWN. 🇺🇸

A 100% disabled combat Army Ranger and firefighter has made the courageous decision to ask for help and enter a 42-day inpatient treatment program at Warriors Heart for chemical dependency and PTSD beginning this week.

While he focuses on healing, his family could use a community standing behind them.

Fireside Chat Support Network is stepping in to help ease some of the financial pressure at home — helping with immediate family needs and making sure he can focus on treatment without carrying the additional weight of worrying about his family.

This is exactly why Fireside Chat Support Network exists.

Sometimes serving those who served means sitting around a fire and listening. Sometimes it means sharing a meal. And sometimes it means rallying a community around a veteran and his family when life gets heavy.

We are helping a 100% disabled combat Army Ranger and firefighter and his family who are in extreme crisis. Dad is checking in this week to Warriors Heart inpatient treatment facility for Chemical Dependency and PTSD in Bandera for 42 days starting Thursday August 27.

Things leading up to him asking for help have put his family in a financial bind. They're overdrawn by $2,000 in the bank account, down a vehicle, in need of groceries, and their AC is out and needs to be replaced. And he needs $350 dollars for his commissary account at Warrior's Heart.

We are asking our friends to make a tax deductible donation to www.FiresideChatSupportNetwork.org and write ARMY RANGER in notes

to help this family get back on their feet while Dad gets treatment. These friends are not in our immediate area, but have visited with us at 12 Fox Beer Co. and know of our mission to help Veterans and First Reponders in crisis.

Spend your Sunday afternoon creating something beautiful at 12 Fox. 🎨

Join local art teacher Suzanne King on Sunday, August 30 from 2–5 PM for a hands-on painting class featuring a still life in shades of white, created with a palette knife. You’ll finish the piece by collaging flowers onto your artwork for an extra layer of texture and personality.

No better way to slow down, get creative, and enjoy an afternoon in the Hill Country.
