In the latest episode of 'Mallett & Michelle on Dripping Springs', our founder and CEO, Alan Rossing, shared his journey.

From his beginnings as a tribal member of the Oglala Lakota Sioux to decades in the water industry, Alan’s path has always been guided by respect for water as both a sacred resource and a vital necessity.

Since moving to Dripping Springs in 1993, Alan has seen firsthand how rapid growth and limited supply put enormous strain on our region. That’s why rainwater collection is no longer just a “green idea”... it’s becoming an essential solution for sustainability and resilience in our communities.

At Lakota, we’re proud to help lead that effort.

We also want to recognize two incredible partners Alan highlighted: Pioneer Water Tanks America and C.E. Bartlett. Simply put, they offer the best tanks and liners he has seen in over 40 years of work in this field.

We had a great time at the Founder's Day Festival this past weekend in our hometown of Dripping Springs, TX! 🙌

It's been close to a decade since we last had a booth at Founder's Day and now we already can't wait for next year!

We offered 'water flights' at our booth to help people taste the difference of rainwater & we even had a mini rainwater system on-site for folks to fill up their water bottles. 😊

Thank you to all our lovely customers who stopped by and said 'hi'. We love seeing you all out & about.

If you're located in Dripping Springs or the Central TX area - make sure to check out Founder's Day Festival this weekend!

We will have a tank with free rainwater to refill your cup or water bottle & will also be showcasing the difference in not only taste, but water purity, between rainwater vs well water vs tap water (and maybe even your favorite water bottle brand)!

Our booths will be on Old Fitzhugh, near the main stage on Friday evening, all day Saturday, and all day Sunday!
