So this week we brewed this years Ales for ALS beer. We chose a NEIPA for the style because this year a couple of us are going to New Hampshire to ride the Tri-State Trek. The Trek is a fundraiser bike ride that covers 3 states over 2 days. June 20th is our release party for the beer, and it’s a send-off party for those of going to ride.
This is always a special beer to us because we firmly believe in what ALS-TDI are doing and supporting that effort is very important to us. Please save the date and come join us. We also are looking for donations for the Tri-State Trek. We will have a link in bio to the donation page. Every amount matters, so please consider donating.

Casks don’t always mean ales. Kasha rice lager is on cask today. Natural carbonation and cask hopped with Contessa give this refreshing light bodied lager a soft and more rounded sensation on the palette. A touch of honeydew melon and green tea on the nose from the hops and cracker from the pils malt.

Celebrating Earth Day with the release of Payload Hoppy Lager made with hops that left the earth on a recent Blue Origin flight!
You read that right; we sent Galaxy hops into space and then used them to brew this crisp hoppy lager. One of our society members took a ride on Blue Origin, and was able take some hops with him. When he returned, we brewed a beer using those hops. Come taste “space hops” today at 2. # Thanks to Jason for being willing to take some hops with you

Gimli on cask with a special treat from our friends
We cask hopped this pin with Most hops and the result is fantastic. Bright berry notes (lots of strawberry) complement this lovely golden mild. Quite refreshing and a great way to showcase a new hop variety. Charles Faram started Project Firkin initiative to help promote cask ales and cask consumption, something we are certainly proponents of. Cask ale is such a wonderful way to enjoy a pint, at the pub with friends and neighbors, instead of a six pack grabbed at the store and taken home. Come grab a pint of Gimli with us
