We spend more time making cheese and taking care of the goats than talking about it, but today we'll make an exception.
We're grateful to share that Pure Luck earned four awards at this year's American Cheese Society Competition, one of the most respected competitions for artisan cheesemakers.
🏆 First Place — Feta
🥈 Second Place — June's Joy (though it'll always be first place in plenty of hearts)
🥈 Second Place — Basket Molded Chèvre
🥉 Third Place — Herbs de Provence
For nearly three decades, we've had the privilege of making cheese here in the Texas Hill Country. The awards are meaningful, but what matters most is continuing to make cheese the same way we always have - with good milk from a well-loved herd, plenty of patience, and a deep appreciation for everyone who has supported our farm along the way.
To all of you who have visited the farm, shared our cheese around your table, or cheered us on - thank you. We're grateful to be part of your stories, and we're excited to keep making cheese worthy of celebrating.
