Someone gave me the idea of purple hull pea jelly. She said her grandmother used to make it. I’ve been shelling peas and saving the hulls. Would anyone be interested in trying it? I don’t want to make a huge batch if it will not be used.

Everyone who has ordered and hasn’t gotten their order yet, please be patient with me. Had to go out of town for something and I will be taking this weekend to spend with family and go to birthday parties. I will get back busy first thing Monday morning and have all orders made and delivered by Thursday when everything has had their 24-48 hours to rest. Thank you to my wonderful daughter and son in law for coming to help get this ready!! And my youngest son, who always helps with everything I need help with. Well it was a productive day picking vegetables until my body decided I’m all of a sudden allergic to a wasp sting after 47.5 years of not being allergic. A hospital visit, being told to always carry an epi-pen on me from now on, an IV bag full of meds and fluids, pharmacy trip that made me sick to my stomach (queue the epi-pen), and finally back home. Will be working on pickled okra and shelling peas again tomorrow!

If anyone needs to order anything message me or text me at 318-233-9778! If I don’t have it, I will make it! If I don’t have a recipe, I will find or make one!!
