Haven’t posted an update in a minute on the house, so here we go…

Kenny has been out here working sun up to son down like a whole machine. I’m talkin’ built like he could carry the house on his back and honestly… at this point I think he basically is 💪😂 He is doing about 90% of this himself while working a full time job 5 days a week!

We’ve got the first floor almost done!

Meanwhile me… my ADHD said let’s do this…start everything finish nothing so I’ve been giving Kenny a fresh list of projects daily like it’s my second full time job 😅 I also decided it was a GREAT idea to start backfilling the basement for the drain tile… because clearly I needed to add more chaos to the day.

I’m real close to building a little bridge to the new house and hiding out in it half finished just for some peace and quiet away from these kids. At least it won’t feel like a packed sardine can anymore 🤣

Today’s been one of those days.
Got the barn cleaned out, scrubbed all the feeders and waterers, and put in some work on the new house.

But I wasn’t about to starve while building…
Nothing hits better than a big bowl of soup beans with my daddy’s cornbread recipe on some fancy china 🤤😂 while waitin’ on that smoked meatloaf finish up.
