It’s almost here! Daisy Hollow Farm’s annual Halloween festival! This Saturday and Sunday, October 24th and 25th from 11 to 5! We will have a scavenger hunt trick-or-treat around the farm, pony rides, all the animals will be out to play with, will be roasting hotdog dogs and marshmallows, and… It’s supposed to be a beautiful weekend! Save the date for Daisy Hollow Farm’s annual “Hollow”een Festival! October 24th and 25th, rain or shine! Halloween scavenger hunt around the farm and gardens, pony rides, costume contest, and all of your farm animal friends will be ready to play! $10 for adults, $5 for kids, under two is free. Daisy Hollow farm will be at the Lafayette Apple Festival this Saturday and Sunday, October 10th and 11th, from 9 to 5! Look for us in our usual tent H! In preparation for the show, Daisy Hollow Farm country store will be CLOSED this week. You can order online from our webpage or Etsy, we are in Greenstar in Ithaca, and The Local Food Market in Cortland! Hope to see you at the Lafayette Apple festival!

Autumn is in the air at Daisy Hollow farm! We just pulled the last of our calendula off the drying racks. We’ve got some cold weather coming, so it’s almost time to pull the Dahlias and store the tubers until spring, time to plant garlic, time to collect seeds from some easy annuals, like zinnias, impatiens, calendula, and marigolds. Freeze up the last of the veggies! You can chop up Swiss chard and put it in freezer bags, chop up peppers, green beans, herbs, shredded summer squash! All into freezer bags! Then you can be eating summer fresh in January! Also, porcupines are out, keep an eye on your dogs, Otter🤣🤦🏻‍♀️.

Day 2 of Cortland PumpkinFest at the courthouse park! We are here on this beautiful October 4th Sunday until about 4 o’clock! Look for Daisy Hollow farm in the main tent for all of your natural skin care needs! We are busy making new designs on our wool scrubbies, made with wool from our sheep wrapped around a bar of soap, and used in the bath or shower like a loofah sponge! So many to choose from!
