The attraction of Texas longhorn cattle is different for everybody. Likewise, one Texas longhorn is different to the next. This variation can be confusing to seasoned ranchers as well as to ranchers new to the industry. Let’s face it, Texas longhorns don’t look like they did, just 20 years ago. Their horns are bigger and wider and their bodies are too.
8 years ago, we started a blog to record our experiences and how we have sustained this evolving industry for more than two decades. This month we initiated a blog series to communicate the changes we are making in these interesting times. Our first few posts will outline what we will do differently. This series will end with highlighted practices we have avoided.
