The beginning of the guiding season always carries a little nervous energy. Not because I haven’t saddled up a hundred times before — some days I feel like I could ride these trails with my eyes closed. It’s more the step back into the rhythm of business and scheduling: coordinating rides, preparing horses, making every effort to keep everyone safe — guides, guests, interns, our children, the cats, etc....continued in comments.

Being a 4-H All-Star shaped so much of who I am, and I'm thrilled to be in a position to give back to the program that gave me so much!

We recently donated a stay for the Greenbrier County 4-H fundraiser, and the results are in! We can't wait to host the lucky winner this summer and show them firsthand how we put our Head, Heart, Hands, and Health to work here at the ranch.
