I’m very grateful to First Congregational Church of Dubuque UCC for this recognition.

Barony Bakery has always been about more than simply making bread and baked goods. Through Loaves of Love (Barony Bakery), it has also become one small part of a much larger community network helping move food and other resources where they’re needed.

We’re thankful to be able to support the Community Family Pantry and Wednesday Night Free Community Meal, and even more thankful for the many businesses, volunteers, donors, churches, and organizations that make this work possible.

I’m honored to be their first Giving Back Friday spotlight, but this recognition really reflects the work of a lot of people who continue to show up for our community.
