It’s been a long day! Beans are strung and broke, box of bananas cut up and in the freezer to freeze dry, one batch of corn freeze dried and packaged, another batch of corn in the freeze dryer, now to can the beans tomorrow and cut peaches up! Winter prep!

What was your breakfast this morning?? Mine was homemade protein waffles with natural ingredients, our pork sausage and some blueberries. It’s so hard for me to hit protein goals using only clean ingredients and not wanting to add protein powder to every meal but I’m figuring it out and making it work! Don’t get me wrong I still have packaged food and stuff that’s not considered whole food but I try to stick to as much unprocessed as I can! For example this breakfast was our sausage, fresh blueberries, and the waffles are made from cottage cheese, whole oats, eggs, and baking powder. But I still had my processed portion sugar free syrup. Life’s about balance right?

Good morning friends!! I have been tied up in tomatoes the last few days and haven’t posted much! Summer on the farm is a busy time for us! I plan on having some simple baked goods out tomorrow but not all that I normally have as I just need a break after all this canning and hope yall understand! But the shelf’s will still be full of yummy canned goods, skin care, and of course there is fresh pork and beef in the freezer! I also wanna take this opportunity to address my skin care as everyone is always asking what I use on my face. The simple truth nothing fancy I use water to clean my face no soaps or cleansers on it, I use an eye patch maybe once a month and I use use whipped beef tallow every night. I have been using whipped tallow for 4-5 years now which I use to purchase on Etsy realized how much it helped my skin and that’s how I got on board of rendering our own tallow and making my own cream! I would also like to thank everyone of you personally for supporting our farmstand and all the hard work that goes into it. Your love and support is truly appreciated by my family. Going forward I would love to hear y’all’s feed back and reviews! How’s your experience been, is there anything we can change, is there anything you would like to see, just any thoughts to help us make the stand better serve you! ❤️❤️
