This month I would like to highlight another adult rider here at Amity.

Pam Forsythe has been a long time student and boarder here at Amity.

Pam did not start riding until well into her adulthood. She overcame a great deal of anxiety and fear to become a horse owner and even compete a little.

She lost her longtime partner and well beloved mare, Millie a few years ago.

She is now on a new adventure with a much younger horse, which comes with it’s own set of ups and downs.

Pam has seen the anxiety and fear resurface and has been able to move past it to enjoy her new relationship.

I am so proud of Pam and these little wins!!! 🙌

I’d like to acknowledges some of my students and boarders this summer and note their achievements, or as I refer to them, their “little wins.”

First is Nic Simonson, who has owned and boarded four horses with me throughout the years.

It’s been quite the journey for horse health issues and human health issues, but Nicki is passionate and determined.

And that is a BIG win!!!!

Congratulations to our Amity team member Jessie LaCroix who has finally found her “forever” horse!

Jess was even brave enough to ride Bubbles without a trainer in the arena on her first ride here at Amity.

It is rarely about the big wins I truly believe, but always about the little wins! Go Jess! And go Bubbles! 🫶🙌👏

That smile was priceless!!!
