Bringing our Bulldog community together, one taco at a time!

UMD Dining was excited to partner with Chancellor Nies for a special Chef Spotlight featuring his very own fish taco recipe, made with Skuna Bay Salmon!

A big thank-you to Skuna Bay for collaborating with us and providing the chef-quality salmon featured in this special dish. Skuna Bay takes pride in hand-selecting, hand-cleaning, and carefully inspecting its salmon, while prioritizing sustainable farming practices.

Events like these are a great reminder that food is about more than what’s on the plate. From sharing Chancellor Nies’ recipe to highlighting the ingredients and partners that make it possible, these experiences create opportunities to celebrate campus partnerships and bring our Bulldog community together.

We’re grateful to Chancellor Nies and the Skuna Bay team for helping make this event special. Together, we’re creating meaningful experiences that make UMD feel like home. ❤️💛

🌮 Salmon tacos served by the Chancellor? Now that's something you don't see every day!

Yesterday, we welcomed UMD Chancellor Charles Nies to Kirby Garage for a special Chef Spotlight event, where he helped serve up delicious Chipotle Salmon Tacos to our campus community!

We love finding creative ways to bring students, campus leadership, and great food together. 💛❤️

Tomorrow evening, we’re excited to welcome Vice Chancellor of Student Life Kay Robinson back to Superior Dining! 🥰🍽️

Kay will be joining our students for dinner and spending time getting to know them, sharing stories, and connecting over some of her favorite foods. 🩷

We love creating opportunities for our students to feel connected and at home on campus—and we’d love for your Bulldog to join us! 🐾

☕🤎 A Coffee-Lover’s Dream at Northern Shores! 🤎☕

We’re so thankful for the opportunity to partner with Duluth Coffee Company to celebrate National Coffee Day! 🎉

Sam from Duluth Coffee Company joined us at Northern Shores to treat our students to free coffee and chocolate samples, plus an exciting giveaway for a year’s supply of coffee! ☕🍫

We love bringing fun experiences to campus that give our Bulldogs a chance to try something new, connect with local businesses, and enjoy a little pick-me-up between classes. 🐾

A huge thank-you to Duluth Coffee Company and Sam for helping make this event so special. What better way to celebrate National Coffee Day than with good coffee, sweet treats, and our amazing UMD community? 🥰☕
