Scott Farm was an early innovator in shipping apples directly to consumers. 100 years ago this year, in 1926, owner F. Cabot Hobrook even filed for a patent for a unique apple packing crate made from lumber harvested right on the farm. Shipping technology has advanced since then, but we still ship apples in season!

It's time this week for our second Crêpe Night of the season. Join us for dinner at the farm this Wednesday, May 27 to share good simple food, joyful music, and great community in a stunning setting.

As always, the event will support a local nonprofit doing good work in our community. This week all proceeds will go to Friends of Brattleboro School of Dance. The organization was founded in November 2025 to save the Brattleboro School of Dance by four alumni of the school. With the current owner ready to step down, Friends of BSD is raising funds to purchase the school and transition it to a nonprofit model. Their mission is to ensure creative and inclusive dance education remains accessible to children, youth, and adults in the greater Brattleboro area.

This Wednesday, May 13, is our first Crêpe Night of the season! These Summer gatherings are always such a wonderful time as we share good simple food, joyful music, and great community in a stunning setting.

Even better, every event supports a different local nonprofit. This week all proceeds will go to The Root Social Justice Center. Support from Crêpe Night will directly fund their community rooted programs, including BIPOC-centered spaces, work with youth and families, support for asylum seekers, refugees, and immigrant communities, and mutual aid efforts.

Online orders for this year's Tree & Perennial Sale close today, Thursday, April 30, at 4pm!

If you miss the deadline or like to live life on the edge, you will still be able to purchase remaining trees and perennials this weekend. But sales are brisk, so buying in advance at www.scottfarmvermont.com/tree-sale is recommended.

If you can't quite decide or like to choose on the spot, you will be able to purchase some trees and perennials on the pick up days - Sat, May 2 from 9am to 5pm and Sun, May 3 from 9am to noon - that were not pre-purchased. The time is here for our next season of Crêpe Nights! We've been hosting these delicious gatherings at the farm each Spring and Summer for many years now, each one in support of a different local nonprofit investing in our community.

The menu includes a seasonal salad, a savory supper crepe (galette), and a sweet dessert crêpe. Our menu is seasonally focused and centered around supporting our local farmers, so expect to see different options often.

Reservations are required and are now available for our May events including May 13 with The Root Social Justice Center and May 27 with Friends of Brattleboro School of Dance. See you at the farm!
