The farm feels a little emptier today. With some unfortunate circumstances of the massive storm last night- we lost our matriarch of the pasture, our horse Briar. She’s the horse anyone could jump on and she happily walked the 2 year olds around on her back. She was the first to greet you when arriving to the barn and she cherished every snack. All the other animals trailed behind her and followed her wherever she went. It feels a lot like we buried our hearts today but we will forever keep our memories forged with her branded into us. We know she has crossed the rainbow bridge and is with God where he gathers up all of his beloved creations. • “And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: ‘Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!” Revelation 5:13
