Little Moo-luer had fun at the fair, we hope π€£ He only threw one tantrum where he knocked over the water bucket and slipped out of his halter, which we scrambled to put back on after he went running to the nearest humans to save him!
Sadly we won't be able to keep Moo-luer once he's at weaning age. We want to let everyone know he'll be ready for a new farm at that time!
Moo-luer is a bit of a mishmash micro mini cow! Mootilda is half Dexter, quarter mini Charlias, and a quarter mini Longhorn (we don't see that in her haha) and his dad is a micro mini Belted Galloway. That means he'll be on the smaller side of mini cows. Hopefully he stays small enough to be a micro mini!
His dad is tested and we plan to test Mootilda. As we're writing this, the mutation that the test is used to detect is escaping us π
Please bear with us, our brains are still befuddled from fair week!
What we get for Moo-luer, which you'll have to message to ask, will be going directly into Feral Daughter's 4H fund. Her ribbon auction earnings will also go into that fund. This fund is for her to use, with our supervision, to get what she needs to go farther in showing cattle, dairy goats, and meat goats! With our and Moo-luer's help more will be added to the fund so she can do more. Maybe get a Mini Hereford? Maybe some pure dairy goats? Please help us if she wants to get the full set up for showing cattle π΅βπ« Where would we even put it?!
Anyways! If you saw Moo-luer at the Rice County Fair and want him to join your family let us know!
If you weren't but have seen Moo-luer's antics on our page, still send us a message with all your questions!
For those who don't know, we are located near Dundas, MN so check the distance to see if it's within your range!
Side note, we are working on getting a website up with at least the bare minimum for everyone to find out details about our animals seeking new homes that we can't put here. Wink wink nudge nudge!
