May has brought some exciting new additions to our herd!
Both Theo and Weston set out this year hoping to add a new goat to their show strings, and they each found a little luck along the way. Theo applied for a giveaway opportunity through two incredibly generous Utah herds, while Weston applied for the Wisconsin Dairy Goat Association Share-A-Kid Program. They’re thrilled to have welcomed two beautiful new doe kids to our farm!
A huge thank you to LFARM Nubians for generously donating Theo’s new doe kid, LFARM Allianz. We cannot wait to watch them grow together. We’re also so grateful to Engylskye Dairy Goats for hosting the giveaway, and to Anja, Sierra, and Rene from Highland Nubians for helping get her safely back to Minnesota for us.
Another big thank you to Shisler Family Farm for generously donating Weston’s new doe kid, Shisler Farm Got My Champ. We had such a wonderful time visiting their farm and learning from the Shisler family.
The dairy goat community truly is something special. We are beyond grateful for these herds, their generosity, their willingness to share their incredible genetics, and their continued support of youth exhibitors.
