Today, on National Dog Day, we’re honoring two very special members of the Glenora family: our beloved SpokesPups, Chase & GG. 🐾❤️
It all began with Chase, whose incredible rescue story captured so many hearts. After surviving 23 days on the streets of New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina, Chase eventually found his forever home — and later became the inspiration behind Chase’s Reserve and Glenora’s SpokesPup program.
Then came GG, a brave and gentle soul who was rescued after being found searching for food for her puppies. With love, patience, and a safe home, she blossomed into the happy, loving dog we came to know and adore. She carried the SpokesPup legacy forward through GG’s Reserve, continuing the story Chase began.
At the heart of both of their stories is Jeff Pursae and his parents, who opened their home and their hearts to Chase and GG and ultimately brought their remarkable stories to Glenora. We are deeply grateful to Jeff and his parents for their commitment to rescue, for sharing Chase and GG with us, and for helping make them such a meaningful part of the Glenora family.
Though both Chase and GG have crossed the Rainbow Bridge, their legacy lives on in a beautiful way — through the love they inspired, the stories they shared, and the lives still being helped through Glenora’s SpokesPup wines. A portion of the proceeds from these wines supports animal charities, helping give other animals the second chances they deserve.
Today, we celebrate Chase, GG, and the power of rescue.
Their paw prints will always remain part of Glenora. 🌈🐶🍷
