Last night, I opened the last bottle of my 2003 Pinot Noir. It's a wine I made in my garage and aged in a half barrel in my basement. Bottled straight from the barrel. The wine was amazingly young, with no hints of oxidation. It was one of the best wines I ever tasted. The fruit was from the Estate Vineyard, 2-year-old vines!
