-NEW RELEASE- 2023 Seyval Blanc, a new twist on an old classic. Coming up in the Finger Lakes this French-American hybrid used to dominate but sadly isn’t found on wines lists like it did 20 years. Last year I had the opportunity to have a crack at for the first time in ages, and I’m glad I did! Fermented in a combo of old French barrels and stainless, and aged in barrels for a brief five months to keep it fresh. The wine is finished just off dry to balance the acid while still being zippy. Be the hero of the summer BBQ and bring this one along.

Today, a couple of our customer favorites have returned to the tasting room! The 2021 Saperavi was aged in neutral barrels for a year, and another year and a half in bottle . This vintage is more delicate and savory than the previous one, but just as delicious. The field blend white is a semi-dry wine made from Seyval Blanc, Gewürztraminer, and a splash of Cayuga White.

Mark your calendars, we’re celebrating 20 years of Hickory Hollow Wine! Join us August 19th from 1-4pm at the tasting room. We will be releasing a new sparkling wine that day, paired with tacos from Salt of the Earth, and the incredibly talented Randy Knapp will be there as well. You won’t want to miss this! There will also be some library wines poured by the glass along with large format bottles for the occasion.
