OPEN ACCOUNTING POSITION

NW Wine Company, a premium wine making company located in Dundee, OR has an opening for a full-time Accounting Clerk. This person will be an integral part of the accounting team and will be one of three staff accountants with overlapping responsibilities.

NW Wine Company is a dynamic environment with a dedicated team who thrive on the diverse and energetic processes that are typical of the wine industry. Candidates for the position should enjoy a fast paced and ever-changing workplace.

Primary responsibilities will involve:

-Accounts Payable
-Inventory reporting and reconciliation
-Accounts receivable with emphasis on collections
-Grape contract management
-Other miscellaneous functions in support of monthly close


Job Requirements:

-Manufacturing background preferred
-Working knowledge of accounting principles
-Highly organized, detail-oriented and self sufficient
-Ability to analyze, interpret and question data for accuracy
-High level competency with QuickBooks
-Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
-One year experience in an accounting position
