Wilfong Farms We are located in Pocahontas County,WV. We have 1200 head of commercial ewes, 800 brood cows, yearling cattle and have expanded our agri toursim offerings!

🎉🎉Ya’ll! WE DID IT! 🎉🎉
We were able to buy not one, but 2 animals at the Pocahontas County 4-H/FFA sale last night! We bought a goat and lamb at the sale! Pictures will come in a few days!

(And we actually ended up buying a hog and another lamb after the sale) So we will be bringing back meat from 4 different livestock exhibitors!

One of our goals when starting the store was to be able to give back to our community. Thank you to everyone who is supporting us along this journey!

We also have shelled corn warmers. Same concept as rice warmers-just stick in the microwave to warm! We use these a lot to help with headaches and neck/shoulder pain!

The best part? They are all locally made! ❤️

Due to the storm we received last evening, we weren’t able to pick the sweet corn. We are going to do our best to be super fast pickers this morning once we get our son to school. If we aren’t at the store exactly at 10, we will be there soon after. We apologize for any inconvenience!

If you are interested in a bushel or two of sweet corn, please reach out and reserve your spot! I want to make sure we pick enough for this weekend. We should have more next weekend as well.

I also have more tomatoes in the high tunnel to be picked. If you are interested in a 1/2 or bushel of canning tomatoes, please let me know!

We’ll have farm fresh sweet corn available this Friday & Saturday at Wilfong Farms Meats and More LLC!

🌱 **No insecticides used!** Because we don’t spray insecticides, you may find a little worm damage here and there — but we think that’s a small price to pay for fresh, locally grown corn!

Not sure how to fix lamb? Are you a little nervous about cooking something new? Feel free to take some of these wonderful booklets generously provided by the American Lamb Board! They are super helpful!

I also restocked the beef soup bones! We are open on Saturday from 10-5. Don’t forget-we are putting today’s money toward purchasing an animal at the Pocahontas County 4-H/FFA Livestock Sale next Saturday!
