The horses made it back into the design. They look better with a fresh coat of paint. Still have some painting to complete, and the horses will get concreted into their final positions this week. Now I’m searching for a nice stag horn fern to attach to the tree behind to cover up the ugly scar where someone hacked off a big limb. Almost done! On to the next project, which is fencing, and not nearly as much fun!

I’ve had some really lovely people out for trail rides over the past few weeks. This beautiful mom brought her 4 gorgeous daughters, and I had so much fun teaching the youngest all about horses on her first ever horseback ride. How adorable is she? Freckles on the nose, and a giant toothless smile!

I don’t know if anyone remembers me posting about 4 goats who showed up on my property a couple months ago? The owner surrendered them to me, so they’ve stayed here where they are safe. I wouldn’t mind finding them a loving home where they won’t be separated or eaten—they are a beautiful family and very bonded. Oh, and now there are 6! One of the mommas had 2 babies, a boy and a girl. Very healthy and adorable! Meet Fred and Wilma! Momma’s name is Wednesday, and daddy is Gomez 💗💗💗💗
