These are the hatchlings 🥹 getting so big ❤️❤️. I know I have a white crested rooster and hen. The tolbunt I need to wait a little longer to confirm but I have an idea and if I am correct I’m my suspicions, I have several roosters in that breed 😆.

Side note: I will pick up on the meet and greets today! I just need some good photos and they weren’t being cooperative 😆

Meet Guardian 🤍

He was always mine… but he became so much more.

I found him hurt in the coop during a time I was hurting too. Right after losing someone close to me… everything felt heavy.

He needed care.
And somehow… so did I.

He stayed inside with me while he healed, longer than planned… because I just couldn’t rush it. And in that time, we built something I’ll never be able to fully explain.

Now he’s back with his flock where he belongs… but nothing changed between us.

When he hears me, he still runs straight to me. Not for food. Not for treats… just because it’s me and he wants to be held.

He’s independent. He’s part of the flock again.
But he still chooses me every single day.

Some chickens come and go…
And some leave a mark on your heart forever.

He’s my soul chicken.

Flawless hair? Absolutely.

With feathers this perfect, he’s clearly not living the same life as the rest of us. While everyone else is out here being chickens… Eggward is serving main character energy 24/7.

He doesn’t run — he glides.
