🥛🐐 Herdshare Spots Still Available — and the goats are personally offended you haven’t claimed yours yet.
According to them, their milk is basically liquid gold and should be treated as such. I told them to simmer down, but you know how dramatic these girls can be.

If you’ve been curious about joining our herdshare family, now’s the perfect time. The girls are milking like champs, the cream line is showing off, and they’re absolutely convinced they deserve a fan club.

When you join a herdshare, you become a co‑owner of our dairy herd — which means you get fresh, raw goat milk each week while we handle all the feeding, milking, hoof‑trimming, and “Ma’am, please stop eating the fence” conversations.

✨ What you can expect:

Weekly fresh, raw goat milk from our very spoiled, very loved herd

A direct connection to your farmers (and the goats who think they run the place)

Ethical, hands‑on care for every animal

A community that values local food, stewardship, and a good farm‑life laugh

🧀 Plus… the goodies.
Herdshare families get first dibs on our goat cheeses, creamy spreads, and all the seasonal treats y’all swoon over. And don’t forget our farm‑fresh eggs — gathered daily by humans who are definitely outnumbered by chickens with opinions.

If you’ve been thinking about it, reach out today. We’d love to walk you through how it works and help you find the right share for your family.

🦄 Lucy Update: Certified Agent of Goat Chaos 🐐💨

Our sweet unicorn girl is BACK, y’all — and she has returned with the energy of a toddler who just discovered sugar.

Lucy’s horn has healed up beautifully, and she is thrilled to be back with the herd. And by “thrilled,” I mean she’s running, jumping, body‑checking her sisters, and acting like absolutely nothing ever happened. Classic Lucy.

She went from “quiet recovery princess” to “chaos gremlin” in about 0.4 seconds.

We’re just grateful she’s healed, happy, and back to her usual shenanigans.
Send our girl some love — she’s earned it. 💛🐐

Today we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom. Because of their sacrifice, we get to gather with our families, enjoy the simple blessings of this life, and live in a country where freedom still rings.

As you celebrate today, take a quiet moment to remember our fallen heroes and the families who carry their legacy. We are forever grateful, thankful, and blessed.

Rise and shine, sweet friends!
Guess what strutted back into the pantry like they owned the place?

🥒 Sweet Pickles — crunchin’ like they never left
🌶️ Jalapeño Mustard — spicy enough to make your tastebuds do a happy dance

They’re back in the online store and ready for YOU.
We’re so grateful for every hug, laugh, and “yall sold out AGAIN?!” at the last market.
This little farm is blessed beyond measure because of yall.
Yall rock more than a goat on a trampoline.

🐐🔥 GOAT CHAOS: SASS LEVEL UNLOCKED 🔥🐐

Farm life is in full swing — and by “full swing,” I mean the goats have decided they run this operation and we’re just the unpaid interns.

We’re gardening, canning, cheese‑making, and trying to keep the girls from “taste‑testing” every single plant like they’re Michelin inspectors. Meanwhile the boys are out here acting like they’re starring in Fast & Furious: Barn Drift Edition.

And bless Honey Bug Farms, because while we’re chasing delinquent goats, their bees are out there doing ACTUAL work — pollinating, making honey, and not once trying to climb on the truck hood just because they can.

It’s wild. It’s ridiculous. It’s a full‑time comedy show with hooves.
And honestly? We wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Thankful. Grateful. Blessed.
And slightly feral.

👉 If this chaos makes you smile, share this post, follow our page, and come see us at the market. Support your local farmers — and the goats who think they’re influencers.

🌞🐐 It’s that time again!
The Fix is hosting their Annual Block Party this Saturday, May 23rd from 11am–3pm at The Fix Chapel — 1025 Hobbs Hole Drive, Tappahannock.

Come enjoy a beautiful day of fun, fellowship, and God’s grace as we celebrate the incredible work happening through The Fix.

And of course… two of our up‑and‑coming ladies will be joining the party 👇
💛 Skittles & 🤍 Zero
These girls LOVE people, LOVE snuggles, and have zero respect for personal space. Be prepared for unsolicited affection and forced goat cuddles. 😂

Bring the family, bring a friend, and come be part of something good happening right here in our community.
We hope to see y’all there!

🐐💛

⏰ Hey sweet friends! As our little farm keeps growing, so does the number of folks stopping by for pickups. We love seeing you and we’re grateful for every single one of you — truly.

But we also juggle chores, milking, feeding, cleaning, family, and all the beautiful chaos that comes with farm life. So we kindly ask that everyone be mindful of their scheduled pickup times. When pickups run early, late, or unannounced, it can throw off the whole rhythm of the day (and the goats definitely notice).

Your consideration helps us keep things running smoothly, safely, and joyfully here at Rooted Up Farm.
Thank you for respecting our time and helping us serve you well. 💛

🐐 They follow us everywhere, act like they own the place, and stay in some kind of mischief… but goodness, my heart melts every time they lean in for love.
They may be livestock, but they’ve woven themselves right into our family — sass, shenanigans, and all.
