In the early 1970’s, after visiting her family home in Colorado, DonnaLee Chartier stopped by a small herb and health supplements store. This stop changed her life and inspired something that has greatly affected thousands of others over the years in positive and healthy ways. The man who owned the store met with DonnaLee and introduced her to new and better solutions to her own health concerns. This inspired her. She began studying, and with a vision to share what she was learning with the citizens of the Texoma region, she opened Family Health Food Store in Durant in September of 1976. It started out very small, but has grown in its current location to what it is today - health foods, supplement, essential oils, skin care, hair care, oral care, you name it - something for nearly every possible illness or health need.
We want to thank all of our customers, so for the whole month of September we will have special buys and sales, coupons, drawings for gift baskets, products, T-shirts and hoodies . . .
We will also have free items:
Spend $50 and receive your choice of a special 50th anniversary keychain or chapstick. We also have aprons and shopping bags to give out. (All specials and free items are while supplies last, limit one per customer.)
