The only thing that I’ve seen fly away faster than my youth over the last 5 years are the forests I’ve seen cut down for unaffordable housing, warand chain restaurants in North Carolina. Every time I look for another new fishing spot on Google maps, it’s a new untouched forests razed and turned into a flat concrete pad to house everyone other than working class North Carolinians. They’ll have this place looking like Dallas in another decade if all goes to plan. S**t, Carolina is burning.
