Da Kine's Kava

09/03/2026

Wednesday September 9th is COMMUNITY DAY - that means get out of the bar and take some time to see friends and family, volunteer, enjoy your hobbies, or just take a looooong nap. 😴 We’ll be here to welcome you back on 9/10, refreshed and ready to bula together!

We’re on the news today!

People say kava makes them feel a “buzz.” What is kava exactly? Why are kava bars popping up around the state? And, why aren't there more regulations on it?

Teamwork makes the dream work!

This morning Da Kine’s joined forces with , , and to help keep kratom legal! We had a fun (but hectic!!) morning building educational kratom sample baskets to hand out to legislators in Raleigh. The key takeaway: kratom is good 😁, 7-OH is bad 🤮!

Want to join in the cause? Contact your local representative! Tell them how kratom has helped you and that reasonable regulation (not a ban) is the way to go! Any of our kava bars - don’t forget , , , , , , , , , , , and more - can help if you need scientific information or guidance on what you can do to help!

Together we can keep our industry thriving for years to come! 💕

Spring has sprung at Da Kine’s Kava! 🌸🌱
Come enjoy the sunshine, the nice weather, and the beautiful wisteria with us this week! 💜 if you’re a fan of our winter mocktail menu, this is your last week to get your favorites before we switch over to our spring and summer menu. We’ve got lots of warm-weather specials coming right up - including a returning fave from last year, the Pollinator! It’s a light and sweet honey-ginger drink that’s got us buzzing! 🐝 🍯
Also a little reminder about our spring clothing swap this Saturday! Give your old clothes a new life and find something super special to wear this season. It’s totally free - drop off clothes at Da Kine’s or any time between now and Saturday, and join us Saturday afternoon to find some fresh threads and make some cool friends! 😎
