This Thursday at 7pm: READERS THEATER presents The Velocity of Autumn, by Eric Coble.

"The play swirls around Alexandra, an 80-year-old artist in a showdown with her family over where she’ll spend her remaining years. She’s barricaded herself in her Brooklyn brownstone with enough Molotov cocktails to take out the block. The clash Coble illuminates reveals the many seemingly no-win debates across America over what’s best for an aging relative no longer at her sharpest."

Reader's Theater returns to the farm on Thursday, October 2nd, at 7pm!! Join us for a reading of The Velocity of Autumn by Eric Coble. Here is a little bit about the story:

"The play swirls around Alexandra, an 80-year-old artist in a showdown with her family over where she'll spend her remaining years. This is a *free* event but we will be accepting donations to Kalmia Garden Music and Arts Foundation, which presents our non-profit music, arts, and community events here at the farm.

We're having a party and you're invited!! Come check out our gardens all set up for wedding day, featuring some of our favorite vendors, including, of course, the legendary Woodwinds- try all their delicious apps and cordial service! Photographers, videographers, officiants, DJs, music, florals, hotels, and more, and everyones giving away prizes! For our part, two newly booked wedding couples will win $3500 towards their Kalmia Garden wedding ($1000 off the venue fee and $2500 off catering)!! Epic. Get your tickets and we'll see you there!
