It’s a beautiful end of summer day out there and the ladies 🐮 are surely enjoying it 🌤️.
🥳 We are cooking up a batch of our Whole Milk Basket Ricotta today 😋. It’ll be in the farm store by 1:00 🕐

We’ve settled on a name for Shamrock’s ☘️ calf, Shavon.
So we went with Kathleen’s suggestion of Siobhan but are using the English, more modern version of it that’s easier to pronounce at first glance 😆. It’s Irish ☘️ meaning is “God is Gracious” 💕.

Thank you 😊 all for your suggestions, they are all great. Many of them we have or have had in the past and many we’ll keep in mind for the future.

🤩 Shavon is doing great!!! She’s a feisty little thing with the cutest dished face 🥰

Our newest little Jersey calf arrived just a few days ago 🤎🐮
Her mom’s name is Shamrock ☘️ and she’s a Durham Fair Champion 🏆 herself. This little girls name needs to start with an S, any ideas? 💡 💭

🥛 We are SOLD OUT of raw milk for today. Thank you for another busy milk day!

We still have plenty of other goodies in the farm store:

🧀 Local cheeses
🧈 Butter, sour cream & other local favorites

🍫 Tomorrow: We’re planning to have a fresh batch of chocolate milk ready by 1:00 PM!

🏡 Farm Store Hours: 10:00 AM–5:30 PM

🤝 Our little farm store is self-serve and run on the honor system. Just come in, choose what you’d like, add up your purchases and leave cash or a check in the money box.

🤩 We’ve got a fresh batch of our delicious Whole Milk Basket Ricotta ready for you!

There’s also some raw milk and a few small chocolate milks still available 😋

🍳 Our egg farmer has added another batch of hens and they are finally laying eggs 🥚 🥳. We are stocked up on those great eggs from free ranging hens!

We also have plain yogurt, local butter, mozzarella and sour cream.
