Today, someone purchased Tokens of Love at Plumpeez Deli.
Because of their kindness, I now have 18 sandwiches available to give away to anyone in need. Whether you’re going through a hard time, trying to make ends meet, know someone who could use a meal, or simply need a little help this week — this is for you. No questions asked.
I will be in the kitchen tomorrow from 2:00-2:30PM for pickup. 2818 Chapel Hill Road Durham NC 27707 (Turn at the State Farm sign and enter into the parking lot.)

For those who may not know, the Tokens of Love program was created so our community can quietly help feed one another. Customers can purchase meals in advance for someone they may never meet, and when the need arises, those meals are passed along with love and dignity.
Sometimes a sandwich may not seem like much, but to someone having a difficult day, it can mean everything.
