Honeygirl Meadery was founded to explore the ancient and simple act of fermenting honey, water and yeast, using the natural bounty of the surrounding area to create unique meads with added fruits, flowers and herbs. The concept of the meadery is to 'drink nature' with our hand crafted libations, and experience the essence of nature and all the places the bees visited. Here are the goals of Honeygi

• To promote community, celebrations, and fun by introducing people to mead and mead making
• To honor and elevate the traditional domestic arts that are the basis of the sustainability movement… using what is available wisely and creatively…cooking, gardening, canning and preserving, mead making… all make use of seasonally abundant ingredients
• To promote and support beekeeping and honeybees
• To promote and support efforts to improve the bees’ natural habitats, including using natural and organic gardening practices and planting more pollinator gardens

Taste through the years of our Barrel-aged wildflower with this vertical flight. four years, four unique flavors!

The perfect way to celebrate the people you call “dad” in your life (or the perfect reason to get away from the family celebrations) - taste our Barrel-Aged wildflower mead throughout the years. All aged in Mystic Bourbon barrels (Durham-based distillery), these meads have continued aging to perfection. These batches were produced in years: 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024. $20 - Tickets can be purchased in the tasting room ONLY. Limited number of flights available - first come, first serve.

Also available for tasting in the NEW barrel-aged wildflower - batch #5.
