Jireh Family Farm is excited to announce the release date for co-founder, Valarie Tina Jarvis’ first book. “What if God Already Gave Us the Cure?” She buried her brother, mother, and her father within a handful of years — while working as a registered nurse who followed every protocol in the book. What If God Already Gave Us the Cure? is her answer to the question that grief forced on me: what if the healing we’re searching for was never missing, only forgotten? Part memoir, part practical guide, this book walks you through six biblical pillars of wellness — presence, stewardship, mind, rest, creation, and community — and shows you, through her own family’s story of loss and land, how to reclaim them.

Jireh Family Farm's Herbal School is offering a FREE class!

Only 40 seats are available for this interactive workshop.

First come, first served.

Join us Saturday, September 19th at 3:00 pm for an overview of how herbal remedies can support physical and mental function. In this class, we'll explore the major organs involved in immune function, signs that your body may need additional support, and simple strategies such as sleep, hydration, movement, stress reduction, whole foods, and lymphatic support. We'll also introduce commonly used herbal allies including echinacea, elderberry, garlic, ginger, thyme, oregano, astragalus, turmeric, and more..
Participants will leave with a better understanding of the body's natural defense systems and practical ideas they can incorporate in their own wellness routines.

Comments like this keep us going. On the days that are hot and tiring, when you don’t think people appreciate the hard work it takes to produce wholesome food, this makes it all worthwhile.

It’s not artificial. Environmental events three years ago have led to this.

Ground beef at more than $7 a pound is getting ridiculous.

And this isn’t just one grocery store having a bad week.

The average price of ground beef hit about $7.14 per pound in July.

That’s up more than 12% from a year ago.

Steak prices are getting hammered too.

The average price of uncooked beef steaks climbed to about $13.58 per pound, up more than 10% in a YEAR.

And zoom out a little further and it gets even crazier.

Beef prices have climbed dramatically since before 2020 while the U.S. cattle herd has fallen to its lowest level in roughly 75 years.

That means less cattle.

Less supply.

And WAY more pain at the grocery store.

Ground beef used to be the cheap protein you grabbed for burgers, tacos, spaghetti, chili, whatever.

Now you’re standing there looking at a package like you’re pricing out a ribeye dinner.

And eventually people adjust.

They buy more chicken.

They buy more pork.

They make the package stretch another meal.

That’s what happens when prices keep climbing faster than people are comfortable paying.

At some point, Americans don’t stop liking beef.

They just stop liking the PRICE of beef.
