Read our latest Newsletter, here's the first bit:
This Friday (August 28th) we begin picking, crushing and pressing the first variety of the 2026 harvest season - Seyval Blanc! These grapes (from our main vineyard in Treloar, MO) will get machine picked early that morning while temperatures are still cool. We’ll spend most of the morning/early afternoon cleaning and sanitizing tanks, hoses, and all of the equipment on our crush pad. Assuming all goes well, we’ll start squeezing these grapes around 5:00 p.m.
Here’s the fun part - you can actually watch the crushing and pressing process (which we think is pretty darn neat). Just stop by the winery around 5:00. We advise grabbing a $3 glass of our wine during Happy Hour (Fridays from 4 - 6), and enjoying some live music by Rick Curtright (classic rock from 5 - 8 ).
We’ll be happy to grab you a small sample of freshly squeezed Seyval juice straight from the wine press, explain what we’re doing, and answer any questions you may have (as time allows).
