Itās been a little quiet around hereā¦ but definitely not quiet on the farm. š
Life has been full ā preparing for some very special new additions to our family, while still keeping up with all the everyday work that comes with farm life. The animals donāt exactly understand when life gets busyā¦ they still expect breakfast, dinner, fresh water, chores, and all the attention.
And now, just like thatā¦ kidding season is officially underway! š
This is Popcorn, one of our herd sires. He was actually a product of our first herd sire that you may remember - Ambrose. We gave him a small task last year and his production was impressive so we are especially excited to see how he does this year. The Len 8 genetics sure ran through him remarkably and we canāt wait to keep that on our farm.
Weāre excited to welcome a new crop of babies to the farm and see what this season has in store for us. Kidding season is always a little bit exhausting, a little bit unpredictable, and a whole lot of rewarding.
