As the saying goes, "Man plans, God laughs." And we are sure hearing that laughter now! But, not being the type of people who question God's plan, we just roll with it. We figure Heavenly Father knows how to best arrange the plan as it should unfold.
SO. We hadn't intended to plant this year as our original date for our Georgia move was June 1st. 😆 Yeah, no. And now we're looking at September 1st 🤞with half of our equipment and household goods already sitting in Georgia!
However, we still have plenty of time left here in Arizona so, this week we planted tomatoes, onions, okra, cucumbers, yellow squash, zucchini, kale, and peppers. And harvested cherries🍒 and garlic chive flowers (for seed). The mint, horseradish, and edible flowers are all up and looking good too. The apples, sadly, suffered through a late frost.
Fortunately, we'll be here when the apricots ripen this year as well and the trees are absolutely loaded with fruit!
We may well be gone before this particular harvest fully comes in but we figure whomever buys our house will inherit an amazing bonus if so. 🤞 Here's to planning!!
