Haffner Family Farm We are a local farm, selling farm fresh pork, lamb, and beef. We are a water quality certified farm. Thank you for your support!

We feed non-gmo feeds and transitional organic feeds while raising our animals humanely on pastures on our family farm. When you buy from our farm, you get the benefit of feeding your family healthy food while you provide our family an income to live on, and you play a role in keeping our local, family farm in business. ve practices, always striving to learn and do better than we did the year before. We use rotational grazing on our pastures, we do minimal fall tillage in our crop fields, we use a crop rotation that helps promote soil health, and we are experimenting with no till planting and using cover crops.

Life and business changes:
We have decided to change our business model some, the reality is our life is changing. We started our meat business to join the family farm. It’s been an awesome experience to be able to start a successful farm business to help us make a living wage farming. In recent years we took over 100 percent of the family farm, farming crops, cattle, sheep, hogs, and retail meat business. As our kids are growing up (2 already grown) we feel the need to change our business model, we are short labor. We will work on keeping an inventory of ground beef on hand for sale, please continue to buy from us. But we will only be selling pork and beef quarter, halves, and wholes in the fall going forward. This year we have one half beef left for sale in December and we have a few half and whole pork left for Sept., Oct., January. Please message me to get on that list. We really appreciate all the support you’ve given us over the years! We’ve been so blessed by our many customer friends! And I truly mean that, you’ve all become friends to us ❤️

Our Story

We are a family farm running a farm to table meat business. We sell by the individual package retail pork, lamb, beef, and chicken. We also sell 1/4, 1/2, and whole bundles. We farm near Rose City, MN. We raise our animals on pastures and wooded areas and we feed non-gmo feeds that we grow here on our farm. Raising our animals humanely and feeding our animals a healthy diet of pasture grasses, alfalfa, non-gmo grains, and organic labeled minerals is important to us and helps create high quality meat. We hope you will try our meat and take a role in supporting us as your local farmers. We believe you should know your farmer so you can know your food. **Our meats are processed under state inspection and we are inspected and licensed by the MN Department of Agriculture. Our chickens are processed on our farm with a certification from the MN Department of Agriculture. You can be assured our meats are safe and healthy**
