Greetings from Trillium Forest Farm!

We have around 150 lbs of hand-picked mixed apples available. Sweet and juicy - great for c***r making or, with just a little more work, just about anything. Since they are organically grown, there will be some critters, but these are basically good, tasty apples.

75 cents per pound (can knock off 10 cents per pound if you buy at least 100 lbs).

Also, as shown, juicy Asian pears, Chojuro variety, also hand picked and grown without chemicals. About 25 lbs available. $2 per lb.

Autumnal greetings from Trillium Forest Farm!

Doesn't it feel like the season just shifted from sunny summer to autumn splendor in the blink of an eye? The rain was so very welcome!

All of a sudden, our plums (both Italian and Brooks varieties) needed picking and some of our apple trees started letting us know it was time to harvest their fruit. Even the Asian pears (Choguro variety) are mostly ready. Surprisingly, we still have blueberries - ready for you to wash and pop into the freezer - sweet with the final days of sunshine. We also have plenty of basil (last chance to make pesto!). We have veggies, too, in limited quantities (except for the lemon cucumbers - we've got lots of those and have been using them to make a delicious base for cold cucumber/yogurt/basil soup). Oh, and we've got hops, as shown in the background. They can be brewed cold, for a mellow beverage that is refreshing and not too bitter.

Here's a rundown of what is available:

Basil $1.00/oz
Beets $1.75/lb
Collards $1.50/lb
Cucumbers $1.50/lb
Hops $1.00/oz.
Kale $1.50/lb
Onions $1.50/lb
Swiss chard $1.50/lb

Apples, mixed (mostly sweet and juicy Macouns) $1.10/lb Probably 100 lbs available.
Asian Pears (Chojuro variety) $2.00/lb
Blueberries $4.00/lb (we probably have about 15 lbs available)
Plums (both Italian and Brooks) $1.75/lb We've got nearly 90 lbs of plums available!

Also available are flowers for bouquets: Dahlias, zinnias, and statice.

Keep in mind that we are sharing our garden's bounty and quantities may be limited. Orders will be filled in the order they are received.

Greetings, dear friends of Trillium Forest Farm!

This has been an incredibly busy summer on our farm and we're only just now reaching out to let you know about all the always-organically-grown fruits, berries, veggies, herbs, and flowers that we currently have available.

As shown in the above photo, we've got a lot to offer, but our first priority is to find a good home for 25 lbs of Clapps Favorite pears (similar to Bartlett pears) that we picked yesterday. They totally surprised us by coming this early and it won't be long before they're ready to be canned or to eat fresh. They are $1.65 per pound. We usually set our prices at about half what Fred Meyer charges for organically-grown produce, so you have an idea of what we'll charge you. Call, email, or text, if you have any questions.

Here's a rundown of what we've got (most in limited quantities, unless otherwise noted):

Basil (lots of it) not shown in photo - great for making pesto!
Beets (and beet greens)
Blackberries (plump and juicy right now)
Blueberries (still producing)
Cabbage (green). Big guys - can be sold by the half
Chard (rainbow colors)
Collards (not shown in photo)
Cucumbers (lemon) Lots of them!
Cucumbers (slicing)
Dill heads (great for pickling.) Not shown in photo
Kale (4 kinds)
Onions (dried)
Rhubarb (yes! still some juicy stalks left)

Greetings, friends of Trillium Forest Farm -

Spring has indeed sprung! Trillium Forest Farm is a most colorful place - in the orchard, in the garden, even subtle hues of yellows of Johnny JumpUps, whites of trilliums and Spring Beauties and purples of bleeding hearts liberally sprinkled among the spring green of the wood sorrel on the forest floor.

Fruit trees are blooming or just about finishing up and fruit set looks promising. Bees have been busy visiting the blueberry blossoms. Rhodys and our redbud trees are putting on quite a show. Even our hens have started laying eggs again. What a lovely, hopeful time of year this is!
