There’s a particular kind of ache that comes with watching your child grow — a bittersweet, beautiful ache.
You remember the little girl she was. The little hands mixing flour just to see what happens, a pancake recipe dreamed up simply because she had an idea. You remember watching her create something without either of you knowing where it might lead.
And then somehow, years later, you’re standing beside that same girl in a grocery aisle, watching strangers reach for the thing she dreamed up with her own small hands. 🥹
Her pancake recipe has grown right alongside her — walking into new stores, new kitchens, new family breakfasts we’ll never witness but will always be part of.
