Weyrich Pecan Farm is 103 years old. Our pecan trees came to Maverick County from Fredericksburg, Texas where Felix and Nellie lived as children. Pecan trees are native to Texas. We are fortunate to have an irrigation system which allows us to grow improved varieties in the dessert. Native Pecans are small, hard and difficult to shell. Fortunately, Texas A&M has spent many years improving Pecan va

rieties so that we can produce delicious, flavorful, soft shelled Pecans that are easy to shell. Pecan halves and Pecan pieces are a classic favorite. Candied & Roasted Pecans, Pecan Carrot Cakes, Pecan Pies, and Pecan Gift Boxes are fast becoming the major part of our business. Our faithful customers return year after year and we are grateful. Survival of Small Business, Small Farms, Small Pecan Gift business is difficult so we are particularly grateful to our long distant customers we now count as friends.

It's with a heavy heart that we announce we will not be selling Weyrich Farm Pecans & Gifts this year. We lost Mary to cancer earlier this year and the family needs a moment to breathe and regroup.
