With the rain, comes growth of not only the plants but a lot of weeds too!!!! We are still grateful for the break on watering!!!

We will be at the market in Oconomowoc from 8-noon on Saturday morning, we are low in stock on a lot of our pickles (new ones growing below), but we will have plenty of honey and jams! Come see us, it’s gonna be a beautiful summer day! 🫐🍓🌞🌻

Not only do we work the Saturday market, but we shop too!
Today’s finds: peppers and herbs from Yerkes, Tomato Basil Feta Crumbles from Prairie Pure Cheese, and these delicious homemade Blueberry Muffins, coffee cake and cheese bread from Tricia’s Bake Shop! The coffee from Bubs was also fabulous! Check out the market next Saturday, we will be there again on May 30th!

Next weekend (May 2nd) will be the opening weekend this season for the Oconomowoc Farmers market from 8-noon! We will be there with plenty of 1, 2, & 3 pound jars of our LOCAL, RAW, honey!

Also available: Strawberry jelly and jam, Crabby Strawberry Jam, Tomato Jam, Jalapeño Relish (hot and mild), Dill Relish, Sweet Relish (low stock), Dill Pickle Chips, Dill Pickle Spears, Honey Pickles, Medium Honey Pickles (low stock), Cowboy Candy, and Pickled Jalapeños.

Does anybody want jalapeños or habaneros? They are free but you gotta pick them up by us, will put out in the honey house if anyone is interested!

We did 12 pounds of jalapenos today using this recipe, just wanted to share since so many people seem to have had a great pepper season like us!

For milder relish remove the seeds, if you like to “light up your life”, leave the seeds in, jalapenos freeze really well too!

If you’re not interested in making your own, these will be avaliable after today for 5.00 each, great for tacos, nachos, chili, burgers, and hot dogs!

This spicy, garlicky jalapeño relish is easy to can and perfect for burgers, eggs, or tacos. A great way to use up summer peppers.
