🥂Must be 21+ to follow! There are over 3,100 whitewater miles in the state of Idaho. Our story started in a canyon and has had many meanderings through a fraction of those thousands of miles. The sparkling wine we make is our tribute and thanks to the whitewater that has shaped our story. We are Idaho's fi

rst sparkling winery and we focus on old world methods for traditional method sparkling wines; think re-fermented in bottle, hand riddled, hand disgorged.

Week one of Harvest 2026 is complete!! We got in our Chardonnay, Tempranillo, GewĂźrztraminer, Syrah, and Malvasia Bianca!

Harvest is always the most stressful and crazy time of the year, but also the most exciting and rewarding. It’s a wild few weeks, but we wouldn’t trade it for anything. Super excited to see what this vintage brings, happy harvest friends!! 🍇

Time for another team reintroduction! For those of you who don’t know the magical brains behind 3100 Cellars, meet Hailey and Marshall, our owners, and Hailey, our winemaker!

Hailey and Marshall met on the Middle Fork of the Salmon back in Marshall’s river rafting guide days. Hailey hopped on his raft for a family trip, and the rest is history! Years later, while on another rafting adventure in Hells Canyon, they dreamed up the idea of making sparkling wine in Idaho, and 3100 Cellars was born.

And for a little life update on what Hailey and Marshall have been up to this summer:
Marshall recently took Holden, their oldest kiddo, down the Middle Fork of the Salmon to get back to some of those 3100 whitewater miles! When he’s not on the river, he’s holding down the fort at his 9-to-5 and helping keep everything running smoothly at 3100 Cellars.

Hailey has been busy getting our wines ready for Fall Release, prepping for harvest, and doing all the many things that come with making wine and running a winery.

We’re so lucky to have these two at the heart of 3100 Cellars! 💙

Time for another ! We’re shining the spotlight on one of our awesome neighboring businesses, Berries on Ballantyne❤️

Hailey took the girls out for some berry picking last week, and their raspberries should be ready to pick starting this week! If you’ve never been, it’s such a fun spot to wander around the farm, pick your own berries, and enjoy a beautiful summer day.

One of our favorite things about Berries on Ballantyne is that they don’t use sprays or pesticides, and you can truly taste the difference! The berries are SO good. 😍

Be sure to check out their page for picking times and to see what’s currently in season. And better yet make a day of it, come enjoy a tasting with us, then head over to Berries on Ballantyne to pick some fresh berries and explore the farm for the perfect summer outing!

Our team reintroductions continue with Emma! If you’ve visited us in the tasting room, there’s a good chance you’ve met her. With our tiny but mighty team, Emma takes on many different roles here at 3100 Cellars. She is our Tasting Room Manager and Winemaker’s Assistant, and she also leads our social media and marketing efforts. These roles allow her to combine her passions for winemaking and marketing while sharing our sparkling wines and connecting with all of the wonderful people who visit our tasting room, one of her favorite parts of the job!

Beyond her day-to-day at the winery, she’s been launching her own independent wine label, Mowby Wines, right here in our cellar, with her very first release coming soon! She’s also been making the most of the Idaho summer by spending time with family and friends, getting outside whenever she can, and soaking up the sunshine!

Be sure to say hi to Emma the next time you stop by the tasting room! 💙

Time for a little glassware education! 🥂Two great sparkling wine glasses, two totally different tasting experiences.

On the right is a sparkling wine flute and on the left is a sparkling wine tulip. If you’ve visited 3100 Cellars, you’ve probably sipped your bubbles from one of our tulip glasses!

Both glasses do a great job of preserving those beautiful bubbles, but the tasting experience is a little different. A flute’s narrow shape helps keep carbonation intact, but it also traps many of the wine’s aromas. The tulip’s wider bowl gives those aromas room to develop before concentrating them at the top of the glass, so you can appreciate all those delicious wine smells!

No hate to the flute, they’re still iconic, and sparkling wine in any glass is better than no sparkling wine at all. 😉 But at 3100 Cellars, we believe the aromas are just as important as the flavors, which is why we serve our sparkling wines in tulip glasses.

Next time you visit, take a moment to swirl, sniff, and sip, you might be surprised how much the glass can change the experience!
