Worshipping while working; having a moment with God while thinking through some things…Sometimes God will disturb your peace so you can find your peace.
That may sound contradictory, but often the very things that shake us are the things God uses to align us. He has a way of exposing what no longer belongs, removing distractions, breaking unhealthy attachments, and clearing paths we were unwilling or unable to clear ourselves.
Looking back, I don’t regret the hard seasons, the disappointments, the confusion, or even the heartbreak. Every challenge taught me something. Every obstacle revealed something. Most importantly, every situation pushed me closer to God.
When it feels like your world is falling apart, don’t just focus on what’s being removed. Pay attention to what God is revealing. Sometimes what feels like disruption is actually divine redirection.
I’ve learned that peace isn’t the absence of problems, it’s finding God’s presence in the middle of them.
So if your back is against the wall, if you’re caught between a rock and a hard place, find God there. He is still working, still teaching, still protecting, and still preparing.
Sometimes the disturbance is the deliverance. Sometimes the shaking is the saving. And sometimes God will disturb your peace so you can finally discover His. - Mo’
