For several years, Yeah! Pierogi was a true labor of love ❤️

Every pierogi was hand-pinched and filled with recipes inspired by family traditions, farmers market conversations, and a lot of late nights in the kitchen.

Over time, my health and my life changed in ways I couldn’t have predicted, and my body has asked me to slow down and live more gently.

Because of that, we’ve made the decision to close the business.

Thank you to everyone who supported this little pierogi dream — whether you bought pierogi, shared kind words, or told a friend about us.

It meant more than you know 🥹🫶🏽

As this year comes to a close, I wanted to quietly check in.
I’m still in a season of healing, and my body continues to ask for more patience than I expected. Physical therapy has taken more out of me than I realized, and right now, rest is still part of the work.
Thank you to everyone who has held space, sent kind messages, or simply stayed connected. I’m still here—just moving slowly and listening carefully.
Wishing you a gentle close to 2025 and a steady start to 2026.

Dear Valued Customers,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to provide an update regarding our business. As some of you may know, I've been undergoing physical therapy, which is progressing positively but more slowly than anticipated. This means, unfortunately, that I need more time before reopening.

I miss making pierogi and serving you all, but my body isn't allowing me to do so at this time. I appreciate your understanding and support during this period and will keep you informed of any changes.

Dear friends and loyal customers,

I want to thank you all for your support and patience as I’ve been navigating some health challenges. As much as I want to be back at it, my recent physical therapy has been more demanding than expected, leaving me in significant pain and exhaustion. Because of this, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel my attendance at the February 1st market in Lewiston and February 4th kids cooking class.

At this time, I’m uncertain when I’ll be able to return to markets or production. My priority is to focus on healing and doing what I can to get back to a place where I can share my passion with you all again.

Your understanding means the world to me, and I’ll be sure to share updates as soon as I have them. Thank you for being a part of this journey with me. I wish you all comfort and warmth during these cold winter days.

To our wonderful customers,

After much thought, we’ve decided to take the rest of the year off to focus on recovering from a recent illness. As some of you know, I’ve (Darlene) been healing from sepsis, and while I was eager to return to making pierogi, my body is telling me it needs more time to fully heal 💕

This is just a pause – we plan to return in February 2025, refreshed, and ready to share our 🥟 with you again. Your support and love for Yeah! Pierogi means the world to us, and we can’t wait to be back stronger than ever.
