🌻Today’s flowers…..We are OPEN TODAY 9am-1pm!!! Our flower season is coming to an end and we will be closing soon until spring! So come see us today for gorgeous organically grown flowers, shop the Market for gifts, visit baby Basil, tour the Butterfly Garden and observe the Monarchs! We have bouquets of beautiful sunflowers this week as well as bouquets of dried hydrangeas, dried sea lavender and dried Strawberry Fields Gomphrena!

🐛I was blessed to witness an amazing event yesterday that I am excited to share with y’all! When I started cleaning out the monarch habitat this little guy was hanging in his “J” shape, just a few minutes later I look up and he’s building his chrysalis! Forgive the shaky video, he was in the back corner and I had to hold my arm outstretched with my phone for three minutes and I almost didn’t make it😂! Plan to visit the farm tomorrow and get a look into the enclosure, there are chrysalis’s hanging everywhere!….

🐛Exciting developments are happening on the farm!! Several of our Monarch caterpillars are hanging in their “J” shape getting ready to form their chrysalis to make the transition to beautiful butterfly! It is such a blessing to be able to observe God’s creation up close through these stages! We currently have 27 caterpillars and as you can see in the pic, the mamas are still laying eggs!! If you are interested in coming to our Monarch release in the Butterfly Garden, stay tuned to our posts, we will announce the date as soon as they are ready!

🌿The Butterfly Garden at twilight and our ravenous monarch caterpillars devouring their milkweed! How many can you find in the pic? There are 26 currently in the enclosure! It is amazing watching their rapid growth and it won’t be long until they are building their chrysalis! Stay tuned, we will be announcing a monarch release before you know it!

🌿Good morning on this beautiful Lord’s day! Our gardens here at the farm are packed full of sweet smelling butterfly bushes in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes! These beauties are just one of many reasons why our butterfly population is so heavy! 🐛We are on a Monarch mission!! These little guys have some fierce predators that want to gobble them up before they’ve had a chance to become beautiful butterflies! So I’ve been diligently hunting through the milkweed the past couple of days and have found 14 so far to put in our outdoor habitat. Once they’ve made their transformation, we will release them! We are OPEN TOMORROW 9am-1pm!
