What has everyone been up to? We've been busy with preservation.
This weekend we were able to put the garden to bed and got our garlic planted.
We've e also been experimenting with sourdough recipes due to gluten sensitivites and experimenting with hot sauce recipes.

Today has been a doozy so far. Preservation season for us is in full swing as we are out of freezer space. 😆
Today we made 1 gallon of sauerkraut, 2 quarts of pickled okra, 5 half pints of relish, 1 gallon of coffee ice cream, loaded the freeze dryer with watermelon, mango and plums and got 40 lbs of tomatoes thawed and peeled to make sauce. Also got dinner going.
We still have to harvest from the garden, feed the animals and finish cleaning up.
