Hi friends! It has been a minute!!!
For those of you who don’t know, this past fall I transitioned into higher education, taking on a 12-month position. Working with the students has been a pure joy, and I am already looking forward to the new school year ahead!
Right now, my days are a mix of two worlds: while I’m focusing on professional development and planning at work, I am busy combating weeds and smelling the flowers at home. Is anyone caught up on their weeding yet?
A quick update on the flower stand:
Peony season is running a bit late for me this year, and of course, it decided to kick off the exact week I’ll be away at the New York State Disability Services Council conference!
While my family is fully equipped to handle the daily farm chores, bouquet making is the one thing I do myself—I admit, I am incredibly selective and picky when it comes to my flowers!
Upcoming Bouquet Schedule/first come first serve:
Because I’m heading out, I will do my absolute best to put fresh bouquets out at the stand on:
Tonight
Saturday morning
Sunday morning
Monday morning
Once I return home, I’ll assess the fields and see what the following weekend brings. Thank you all for supporting my flower journey, and I hope you get to enjoy some gorgeous peonies this weekend!
