We are so thankful to be a part of this growing community and cannot express enough how many people show up each week to support their local farmers.

If you're looking for wool pellets, it's not too late to plant. Fun fact you can plant fall crops straight up through August. We will be at the Geneseo Homesteaders Expo Saturday June 6th all day

In addition to our happy freedom ranger broilers we introduce the tub of clearance chickens from . These newbies will be pure lawn ornaments with a heft dose of laughter, turns out we didn't want to like chickens but with Rangers enthusiasm we are falling in love with raising poultry including 2 guinea hens in this bunch.

When there are sheep, it doesn't matter what you are doing, you have your own little posse. They help with all things whether you need it or not, even if it's cleaning a chicken stall to get ready for the next batch of chickens! There's never a dull moment around here

The best part of the Cornell Cooperative Ithaca Plant Sale are all the treasures we come home with. We welcomed a new peach, a limburtis apple, and 7- yes 7 paw-paw trees.
The dogs were pawsitively helpful with this adventure, resulting in an immediate nap before the mouse watch begins.

We struggle with mice killing our trees so we will be wrapping or painting the trunks to help deter them. We have informed our raptor friends they have new trees to protect.

See you all tomorrow! We swear warm weather will come soon and as much as wool pellets help with droughts they also help with soggy soil. Come visit us at the farmers market building in Ithaca 1-7.

The three musketeers Psycho, Helsinki and Opie have a fourth wheel: ho-dy five. They supervised us all day putting in another pasture and have zero cares about the storm that blew through.

Her comments are all day every day and it is spectacular. She is already a legend around here as our biggest ewe and while she came to us as a fight picking lamb she is now our easier to hug ewe. We love her even though she sounds like...well whatever you think this chaos is 🤣

Our girls are mostly out to pasture with still a little help with some hay, our grasses are now strong enough to handle their grazing it's just a swamp around here with all the rain.

This next week we are fencing in another 10 acres so wish us luck/tune in for some very very spectacular chuckles. We have another 24 lambs arriving in a month and it is not too soon to start getting ready!
