We are enjoying the waning days of the NEK summer and beginning our preparations for winter. Barn painted, a new, larger sugaring rig on the way, and apples....so many apples. Onions, garlic, tomatoes, peppers, brussel sprouts galore! Happy fall, folks!

Riley and I ran the rig today with a little help from our friends Kirby Mountain Kennels . Not quite 4 gallons before we ran out of sap. Scott was running the wood splitter. Just shy of four gallons today, brings us to 34 total to date. Looks like a few days off with cold temps, and we will be back at it at the end of the week.
