The glamorous side of soapmaking nobody talks about: the dishes. 🧼😂

Every beautiful bar starts with a sink full of bowls, pitchers, spoons, molds, and enough oily equipment to make you question your life choices.

The soap may be handmade… but unfortunately, the dishes don’t wash themselves.

🛍️ We’re taking a little shop break🛍️

Concord Hill Soap & Candle will be closed this week while we head off to a conference and tackle a very important holiday supply run. 🎄✨

We’re learning, shopping, sourcing, and stocking up so we can bring you all the good stuff for the upcoming holiday season!

Think of it as behind-the-scenes farm-to-shop magic. 😉

We’ll be back in the shop next week, refreshed, re-stocked, and ready for all the cozy fall + holiday goodness.

Thanks for your patience while we do a little work behind the scenes! ❤️

See you soon!

Our shop will be closing at 2pm tomorrow so that we can join our community in remembering and honoring this beautiful young mother who was taken from us far too soon.

This family has suffered an incomprehensible loss. At just 26 years old, she leaves behind a family, a little one who will grow up without his mother, a fiancé who has lost the love of his life, parents whose world will never be the same and so many people whose lives she touched.

Sometimes a small town feels especially small—and especially close. Tomorrow, we’ll step away from the shop for a little while to stand alongside our neighbors, friends, and community as we grieve this heartbreaking loss.

Please keep her family, her baby, and everyone who loved her in your thoughts and prayers.

Life is precious. Hug your people a little tighter. 💔😞
