Forest Ritual Pine Tar Soap

Well, friends… this one is an acquired taste … We made this loaf at the bequest of our darling mail carrier. Pine tar has been used for centuries as a natural skin cleanser, especially for irritated or problem skin. It is frequently used to calm the inflammation from psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, poison ivy, etc…

Pine tar soap has a very distinctive smokey, woodsy (medicinal) aroma. Ours is blended with essential oils of fir needle and Himalayan cedarwood to tame some of the pungent notes.

Is Pine Tar soap for you? Come on in and have a sniff or give it a scrub. Not one of my personal favorites, but friends, you make the call in this one!
